October 2008

Happy Fall, dear friends! As I write this, a beautiful day is embracing me. The sun is shinning brilliantly,
cool winds are rustling the trees, my dogs are extracting warmth from the sunshine as they sleep on the
deck, and the fish in the tank are busy chasing each other as the water temperature slightly cools as all
the windows in the house are wide open. This is truly one of those rare days that is just perfect and I am
thankful for it. I hope that in the bustle of work life, raising children, and school schedules, you will also
take a moment to appreciate the splendor that is Fall!

What a busy year this has been. In addition to practices, concert schedules, traveling and composing, life
(for me) has basically been consumed by helping a close family member cope with a cheating spouse
and subsequent divorce. I quickly found myself involved in the legal logistics and have spent a fair amount
of time with attorneys and in court. So, if I have seemed a little scattered this year, please forgive me.

Denise, Missy and I will be at Pinecrest Hall  in Portsmouth this upcoming Saturday, Oct 4th an then we
will be the feature at Calvary Baptist Church on Thurs, the 16th. Both are open concerts but reservastions
need to be made for the 16th as there is a catered dinner involved. Please call Boots at 393-0291 to rsvp
and we look forward to seeing you there! We are also now booking for the Christmas season so if you
would like to have us celebrate the season with your church or holiday function, please call me at
617-6818!

Ok, take time to enjoy the colors of the earth this season and be sure to keep in touch! God Bless!

Striving to be noteworthy,
Taraleigh
